Good God, I wish this was home gym. Working out here was dream of mine for over 20 years. Only regret was that I have not done it sooner. Staff was super friendly, and because we are Golds Gym members in Boulder, we got in free. Pretty Snazzy. Highly recommended and if you enjoy weightlifting it is a destination in and of itself! Oh, also, TONS of weights and machines outside, too! Was great to just outside!

I purchased a day pass yesterday and what an incredible experience. This is the best overall gym in the USA. The many expansive rooms, including multiple indoor and outdoor areas was very impressive. The quality and variety of equipment, per body part, is truly amazing. The atmosphere is motivational. The front desk staff was helpful and the members were very friendly. Never pass up an opportunity to train at Gold’s Venice when in the area. The “Mecca” lives on.

Iconic. People visit from all around the world. I have silver sneakers which is a program you can utilize when you’re 65. A free gym membership from the US government. They finally did something right. On your first visit you get a free training session. Rich was my trainer he was great. So personable and smart too.

Gold’s Gym is a gym’s gym. The building is old along with many of the weights but is maintained well and the staff is very helpful. The gym has plenty of space and lots of room to move around with a variety of gym equipment.

Love the atmosphere, array of equipment, fellow clients, outside and inside options for working out. Only downside is the plethora of homeless in the area but that’s not the gyms fault.

They are and have always been the best gym in the world! Their new outdoor section is phenomenal! They really put in a lot of work and effort to restore the iconic gym it’s always been.

It always has been and will always be the Mecca of Bodybuilding! A few pictures of my friends over the years. I’ve enjoyed training at gold’s gym Venice since 2010. Nikko manages the store and is a great lady and true friend. If you get a chance go visit muscle Beach around the corner. I’ve trained there over the years and you can feel the spirit of the great bodybuilders from the 1940s onward. The last photograph is Ric Drasin the creator of the gold’s gym logo and myself at breakfast. We miss you Ric. RIP…

I was just visiting but being in that environment and seeing the posters of the greats gives you chills. I’ve lost about 30lbs in the last year but walking in here literally gave me a pump. As soon as I got back to FL, I switched my workout and I am back to lifting heavy after years. There is something about the environment of the gym that hits you! Anyone that has lifted or lifts needs to visit The Mecca!

If you’re in to training in any capacity, you NEED to visit this place. A lot of the kit is old, it’s a bit dated but there is a vibe like nowhere else. Think of your favourite bodybuilder/actor….. Chances are you’ll bump in to them there. Its no wonder its called the Mecca of bodybuilding. A day pass costs $20 but I can almost guarantee you a great workout and an unforgettable experience.

I wanted to see how Gold’s is handling social distancing and taking care of its members. They checked temperatures upon entering, they blocked off every other equipment to social distancing, no water fountains. Overall I was impressed. Golds isn’t known for being a “clean gym” or a “pretty gym” but it was definitely much cleaner than before Covid!

Was a member of another golds when I got a guest pass to visit here. Place is huge, tons of equipment ranging from your normal stuff to some other things you rarely see. Might run into some well known people! They tend to keep it warm in here, so be ready to sweat (wish more gyms were like this)!

One of the better gyms I’ve visited! Great atmosphere and amazing history between those walls. You never know who you’ll run into at this gym. Nice blend of old school equipment with some of the new as well. Could be intimidating at first, but you soon realize everybody there is friendly and helpful.
